We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Your plan type and credit balance
• Transaction records for paid purchases (amount, date, transaction ID)
• Basic usage metadata such as the number of analyses performed

We do not collect your name, phone number, address, or any financial instrument details. Payment processing is handled by a PCI-compliant payment processor; we never receive or store raw card data.

3. Your uploaded files

Files you upload for analysis — including chat exports and API usage data — are processed entirely in memory on our servers and are never stored, logged, or retained in any database or file system. Once analysis is complete the data is discarded. We have no access to your conversation content.

4. How we use your information

• To create and maintain your account
• To process payments and manage your plan and credits
• To send transactional emails such as payment receipts
• To respond to support requests
• To maintain the security and stability of the service

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in during your session. We do not use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser; doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.

6. Data retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated personal data — including your email, plan history, and credit balance — is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.

7. International users

TheBuildShield is operated from India. By using the service, users outside India consent to the transfer and processing of their data in India in accordance with this policy and applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
